Tonight while watching all my favorite shows, I’ll be knitting up my swatches for class. I’ve got some yarns I’ve never worked with before. So it will be interesting to see how I like them and if I would ever work with them again. I’ll try and post some pictures of them when I get them done. I’ve got to do 4 different swatches per yarn (if there’s enough yarn). One in simple stockinette stitch, one in a textured stitch pattern, one in a cable pattern and one in a lace pattern. That’s roughly 12 – 16 swatches. Geez! I should get knitting!
And as for the favorite of the week, well, there’s two. Fortunately I work at a place where they allow us to stream Netflix is the task so repetitive that within seconds we’re nodding off due to boredom. So we have been watching Gavin and Stacey a BBC show. The first show was funny. But every show after that just got better and better. While Gavin and Stacey are the main characters, I feel that their families and friends are stealing the show from them. It’s genius. See it if you can.
My second favorite of the week is Tumbleweed Tiny House Company. I have a fascination with these houses. OK, I’ll say it, I’m obsessed with the Enesti house. I will build and live in Enesti. I just don’t see another way. I’d like it to come with some land so I can have some chickens and possibly sheep. Because, let’s be honest, fresh eggs are amazing and wool yarn can get a little pricey.
